I have been painting for twenty five years. I am mostly self-taught and I learned my craft the old fashion way. Paint, paint, paint. Lots of hard work and hours, days, weeks and years with a brush in my hand. I tell people that in my real life I have deadlines, angry people, and stupid questions. When I paint - without trying to - they come out calm and peaceful. I guess it is the other side of my brain coming out. I try to keep things simple. But there has to be complexity in the simplicity.
