Kurt Mitchell (1952-2020) was an independent artist who was in and around Chicago publishing for thirty years. His work as an editorial illustrator graced the pages of the Chicago Reader, Tribune, Sun-Times, The Quill and others. He also brought his writing and artistic talents together in game development, independently produced comics, graphic novels, and short story anthologies, as well as in commissioned artwork.
