Living in Central Florida with all of it's light pollution, I was fascinated to be able to see the Milky Way while kayaking at the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge a few summers ago while there to observe the bioluminescent plankton in the Mosquito Lagoon. Sometimes we just need to stop and remember that the world is indeed a magical place and will continue to be so.
