This is a painting of the road that runs beside the Highline Canal in Denver, Colorado. The inspiration for this work is the sunset and the late afternoon light that show off the yellows and golds of the cottonwoods and aspens lining the pathway. This was one of our favorite paths to run and bicycle since it provided long traffic-free distances.
