Seize The Day, 2019
25.50 x 33 in
The memory of the stillness and solitude of the walls of our barn kept creeping back-and-forth during the stay-at-home order from our Ohio governor. The monogamous relationship of hanging our milkers in the milk parlour holds the emotion of our confinement behind cement blocked walls which can instructively seize the security of our daily routine. The title of my egg tempera painting "Seize The Day" expresses my revelation of never knowing what the next day may bring.
