"Resonance" was wholly inspired by the beautifully evocative bioluminescence found in nature. During these distressing times, I have found myself searching for beauty and metaphors. In this nocturne painting, I have juxtaposed the light and dark, in hopes that it will resonate with someone if they need to find that spark in the night. I know I need this beautiful thing that chime before the morning bells ring this tempered light that solemn bright that thing that sparks then dims the night! for when the daylight fades away and its clamor recedes to the edge of the clay I will rise and greet my sacred friend and begin our nocturnal conversation again
