These last few months of staying close to home have opened my eyes to the potential of the landscape around me. Driving through the farm country, has me noticing the homes, barns, and fields in different ways. I often wonder how long they have lived there and who tills the soil. Do they know each other? The neighbors live further apart than most, though they are together in their dependence on the soil. While driving one evening, the last rays of the sun gave a glorious crown to an otherwise average setting in the country.
