Band-Aid’s are a common request made by children for their owies. There is something about them. The perception of children is that if you have a band-aid then certainly everything will get better.

Painting is often a solitary activity and allows for the artist to have a lot of think time. I frequently paint nostalgia items and was inspired to paint a vintage box of Band-Aids with the notion that just the right Band-Aid might make the world and us feel better during these challenging times.
