Shortly before the sheltering-in-place orders, I was gliding through a county park in Michigan cross-country skiing when I came upon this small stream. Noting the composition and particularly the light, I realized this image may create an interesting painting. Once staying at home, and for me, coloring outside the lines in the studio, became the norm, I was "glad to be there" so this winterscape was an easy one to title.
