Since the pandemic, I have been taking an alaprima still life online class. Once a month we have to do an original set up and painting and submit it for review. This was my July project. Once again I chose sunflowers as they bring joy. The bean pot is my mothers whom I haven't seen since this all began. She is in assisted living in Maine and was on lock down. She can now have outdoor visitations for 30 minutes, but the governor of Maine will not allow visitors from Massachusetts without a negative test or a 14-day quarantine. So this is dedicated to her.
