The silver lining of the pandemic for me was that I found myself happily working in my art studio every day during this difficult time. While my twin sister was making and sewing 200 masks, I was creating watercolors. Towards the end of summer, my husband and I were in search of a wide variety of apples to purchase in open air fruit and vegetable farmer markets, as we were trying to find seasonal outdoor activities. I was inspired to paint a row of the bright Red Delicious apples. I was just dying to plunge into my bright red watercolor and here was my chance!
