This was painted on my first venture out to paint beyond my immediate area, following completion of my required 14-day quarantine when entering the State of Maine. I drove for miles to reach this spot, just coming upon it by accident as the sun struck the rocks and trees, lighting up a part of the riverbank that you would otherwise not even notice. My subject was Chosen.
