The turbulent feeling in this painting is a direct reflection of my emotions during the pandemic. This one started out as a peaceful harbor scene, but it quickly evolved. The sky filled with dark storm clouds and much like all of us in lockdown, the tiny boats (look closely to see them), found themselves in uncertain times. Hope was not completely lost though, as bright sunlight along the horizon holds the promise of smooth sailing ahead.
