At The Crossing, June 2020

Living alone with few safe places to go, I went for a drive to explore and get out of the house. Just past business parks and newly constructed housing, the road opened up to a patchy country highway.
At an oblique railroad crossing, a number of idle construction vehicles were parked around dilapidated buildings. Likely this business is still operating but the sense of isolation and desertion is an illustration of our world today.
We are at a crossing.
