Since March I've had more time in the studio because I have not been able to teach as I usually do. It's actually been nice to have more time to think about new ideas.

During the summer we had a series of storms passing through. I am always excited by storms...especially as they approach or depart. I love painting clouds and I am always interested in the changes in the sky.

Watching this storm pass reminded me of the chaos and order we live with. This cloud formation reminded me of hope for the future and to look for the proverbial "Silver Lining" in it all.
