As an Israeli-American pastel artist, the recent social distancing requirements have provided me with time to paint a series based on the landscapes of my roots. “A Place of Prayer” is part of this series. It reflects my emotional connection to the Israeli landscape and symbolizes the ability to travel through art, at a time when we must shelter in place.
